Six-Foot Legacy honors the generation of men whose lives continue to shape my own. The vessel combines portraiture and functional form, drawing inspiration from the faces, clothing, and quiet strength of my grandfathers. The crown-like rim and sculptural handles reference both African traditions and the brimmed hats they wore, while the handmade necklace serves as a symbol of inheritance, carrying memory from one generation to the next.

Rather than serving as a portrait of one individual, the work reflects the enduring presence of ancestry and the ways family history is carried forward through stories, objects, and the land itself.
